In 1947, Britain formally handed India its political independence. Though being freed from the British government for 72 years, how much freedom India is actually having nowadays, especially for its younger generations?
It was my own experience in China. During a recent business trip, when I entered a small eatery for a quick dinner, I was the only person who asked for a menu and food ordering service. Later on, again, I was the only one who asked for a bill as the other simply walked out of the restaurant right after finishing their dishes.
Relocating to an Asian locality is not only about the money and the people. Whether you could live happily is largely related to the freedom and tolerance of a locality. Imagine you would be isolated if people found out you are a homosexual person or you would get frustrated if your business development faces tons of restrictions. Then actually how free is Asia?
